The waters in and around Loreto are considered by many as the world's finest big game fishing area. Though there are literally thousands of different fish species in the Sea of Cortez , most fishermen come for the abundance and great size of Sailfish, Marlin, Dorado, Yellowfin Tuna, Yellowtail and Roosterfish.
